GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL CELEBRATING ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY 2010

40 years since the first Glasto-blast and it's that time again! Tickets have been selling out fast for the June festival, but the website has revealed a ticket re-sale on April 11th. Rumoured acts are: My Luminaries, Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons and Newton Faulkner.


LEEDS/READING FESTIVALS

As expected, excitement for the release of this year's line-up is causing a stir and demand for tickets is high! According to their line-up rumours website, the official line-up will be released some time in March. If last years headliners are anything to go by, Leeds/Reading Festival go-ers will have a riot! In 2009 the headliners for the 3 day festival were: Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and Kings Of Leon. Weekend tickets plus camping are around £170.


SONISPHERE FESTIVAL

The line-up for 2010's Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth is awesome and rivals that of Donnington Park's Download Festival . Rock legends Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper and Iggy & The Stooges will be gracing the stage along with Placebo, Skunk Anansie and many more. Running over 3 days, 30th July - 1st August, Sonisphere is one of the cheaper festivals this summer at only £132.50 for weekend and camping! Bargain.


HARD ROCK CALLING FESTIVAL, HYDE PARK


The Hard Rock Calling festival will be at Hyde Park, London over 3 days, 25th June - 27th June. Headlining the London festival are: Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder and Beatles star, Paul McCartney. Tickets start at £47.50 per day.






ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL


Jay-Z, The Strokes and Paul McCartney are headlining the Isle of Wight festival this year with special guests: Florence & The Machine, Blondie and Pink. With weekend tickets with camping being £150, the 11th, 12th and 13th June will be fun-filled and money well spent.






THE CAMDEN CRAWL, LONDON


On the 1st and 2nd of May, Camden is hosting it's annual Camden Crawl. The booze-fuelled, music-filled weekend will take place over a mile and a half of London's Camden, with over 40 venues hosting 200 performances. Line-up includes: Sugababes, Lost Prophets, We Are Scientists and The Blackout. Weekend tickets are on sale for only £57.






DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 


The best till last, Download Festival. The 3 days of ultimate rock music, booze-powered antics, weird and wonderful shops and stalls, rockers of all shapes, sizes and ages, sunshine, festival food and the atmosphere of thousands of fans cheering on their favourite bands.
2010 welcomes headliners: AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith! Over the weekend these bands will also be performing: Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Megadeth, Motorhead, Billy Idol, CinderellaSaxon, Hell Yeah and Stone Sour along with many more!
